I have to tell you about my Girls Night on Saturday.

This wasn’t the first time anyone has ever come over. People have come visiting before, both male and female, but one of the guy humans have always been home and therefore the criteria for girls night has not been met, or so I’m told. I tried to ask mum how girls night could possibly be any different from any other night of humans visiting, but she was too busy in the kitchen to answer.

When mum’s best gal pal came over, she brought popcorn. For all you pugs who have never had popcorn, let me tell you, it is so yummy-awesome. And then when it’s covered in butter and salt…… Yumm-my!

Before the popcorn was even finished, bowls upon bowls of food were brought put out, each more yummy smelling than the last. Mum and her friend sat on the couch and ate and talked, and ate and talked.  I sat on the couch between them happily accepting scritchings  and tasty morsels of food that were offered to me.

Artichoke & Asiago dip on baked pita chips? Yes please!

Girls night is all about food! And pug snuggles.

Sadly all good things come to and end and all too soon Mum’s friend had to go.
